My Life Experiences

I have always been interested in fashion design since I was little, but I've become increasingly more culturally aware since then. Everyday, I am looking for new opportunities to express my message and help others express theirs. I do this while carrying an understanding of the impact that my work has on others in the world, and of the impact of various cultural factors on others. I'm always looking for new insight into and inspiration for messages of my designs, and in turn, showing others my message. What I Do

I started with fashion illustration, which has remained my favorite part of designing. I love using different media to render my design visions and variations and combining the right colors to convey a message. It heightens the excitement to find fabrics and materials and put them together to tell the best story possible.

My Design Path and Style

Culturally Conscious

I connect historical, social, sociopolitical, and other modern culture to create ethical, functional. and purposeful work. I've always identified with various aesthetics and I find it easy to adapt the style of my new design to the mood of the place, the time, or myself. I love florals and I enjoy manipulating different materials and patterns to create my own unique fabric and design story. The way that I intertwine different colors, materials, textiles and textures allows me to design a piece that is light, dark, neutral, and anything in between-maybe even a combination! I've been working in fashion design for over three years and plan to continue, because I know that the fashion industry needs to be upgraded and I want to work alongside other designers and artists to make that happen.
